How To Set Up A Stream: Youtube, Facebook and Google

Streaming is one of the most popular forms of entertainment today. Everybody wants to get paid to play video games, talk or react to videos all day. Even better, there is now a multitude of ways to go about streaming.
All you have to do on YouTube is click on the “Create a video or post” button in the top right of the screen and select “Go Live.” Then click “Stream” in the control room. It all needs to be done with streaming software like OBS Studio, XSplit, or Nvidia Shadowplay.

Facebook allows you to stream directly from the site. Go to Facebook.com/live/create and click “Create Live Stream.” Again, you will need one of the streaming mentioned above apps.

Currently, the only live stream service that Google offers is that of Google Meet. No streaming software is needed to create or join a Google Meet stream, as it is more akin to Zoom or Skype than the other streaming services.

Similarly, there is no streaming app that Apple has come out with. Though it only seems like a matter of time before they try hopping into the world of streaming. Who knows? They might come out with software that even dwarfs Twitch.
No matter how one wants to do it, there are many options to stream these days. It’s generally only a matter of where to do it and what sort of software it is done on. After that, the streamer is free to show whatever they want (within reason) to whoever is willing to take a moment and watch.
