Too many fats, even if they are good ones like omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, can throw off the mental state of a gamer. Protein shakes and nuts are also good for longer sessions, as they contain ingredients that will keep the mind on its game.

It is fun to picture gamers eating pizza and mindlessly sitting in front of a screen all day; the reality is that the diet is just as important for modern gamers as it is for other athletes. Making sure it’s balanced, having all the right vitamins and nutrients, and allowing for mental focus can make all the difference in the biggest stage.
